Our Downtown Berkeley hotel is less than a 40 minute drive from both San Francisco and Oakland International Airport. For in-state visitors, we’re conveniently located off of I-80 and I-580.

From San Francisco International Airport

  1. Start out going east on Airport Access Rd. 
  2. Take a slight left toward US-101/I-380/I-280.
  3. Take a slight left onto Airport Access Rd.
  4. Merge onto US-101 North toward San Francisco.
  5. Take exit 430A, toward Downtown SF.
  6. Merge onto I-280 North toward Downtown SF.
  7. Take exit 57
  8. Take a slight left onto 6th St.
  9. Take the first right, onto Bryant St.
  10. Merge onto I-80 E via the ramp on the left toward Oakland/Bay Bridge.
  11. Take exit 11 toward Berkeley.
  12. Merge onto University Ave via the ramp on the left toward UC Berkeley/Lawrence Berkeley National Lab/Vista Community College.
  13. Turn right onto Martin Luther King Jr Way.
  14. Take the third left, onto Allston Way.
  15. Hotel Shattuck Plaza will be on the right.

From Oakland International Airport

  1. Take a slight left onto Airport Dr.
  2. Take Airport Dr toward I-880/Alameda/San Leandro/Freeway.
  3. Stay straight to go onto 98th Ave.
  4. Turn left onto Airport Access Rd.
  5. Take a slight right onto Hegenberger Rd.
  6. Turn right onto Hillmont Dr.
  7. Stay straight to go onto Sunkist Dr.
  8. Stay straight to go onto Edwards Ave.
  9. Merge onto I-580 W via the ramp on the left toward San Francisco/Oakland/Downtown.
  10. Take exit 19C toward Berkeley/Walnut Creek.
  11. Keep right to take the Martin Luther King Jr Way ramp.
  12. Merge onto Martin Luther King Jr Way via the ramp on the left.
  13. Turn slight left to stay on Martin Luther King Jr Way.
  14. Turn slight left onto Martin Luther King Jr Way.
  15. Turn right onto Allston Way.
  16. The Hotel Shattuck Plaza will be on the right.
